While with another consulting firm, Mr. Jose Luis Benavides, P.E. was the project manager and traffic engineer of record who provided traffic design services for the mid-block pedestrian crosswalk adjacent to Livingston High School located on Peach Avenue in the City of Livingston. As part of the scope, recommendations for the location, size and type of conduit runs and pull boxes were provided.

In additon, support services were provided to the Civil Engineer of Record for a future signal – not part of this project – located at the intersection of Peach Avenue and Lincoln Boulevard for the placement of conduit runs and pull boxes. Moreover, assistance was provided in the determination of the type of pole to be located at the southeast corner of Peach Avenue and Lincoln Boulevard for use in the future traffic signal.

The project’s scope of work included the following:

  • Preparing the Plans, Specifications and Estimates (PS&E) Package
  • Assisting with implementation of timing plans at signal turn on
  • Design of signal timing plans
  • Providing bidding and construction support
